2005-05-19 [Whim]: well, that's why the stipulation to include a panel of judges who decide the final results was added in the last awards. You can't really take the voting out of it cause that's half the fun of these awards, but it's pretty well known that there are aesthetically, as well as creatively, more qualified wikis. But there's not much you can do without turning the awards into a "mother-knows-best" situation where we tell the general public how they're supposed to think.

The Elfpack Awards pages, like all other official pages, are being redesigned using the new official template.

Also, the new four times a year system was implemented both to reduce the workload for the Awards Staff, and to make it harder to win these awards, in an effort to make them seem more "special".
